What we do
Ariel uses forum theatre to support primary aged children to develop social, emotional and communication skills. Through practising challenging conversations, in a safe, structured and supportive environment, these skills become embedded.
Why it matters
By strengthening communication, empathy and problem solving skills early, we help create safer schools and communities.
The Youth Endowment Fund shows that social skills can reduce the number of children involved in crime by 32%, with the strongest impacts at age 9-10.
What the Portal Offers
This portal gives teachers access to evidence-based skills development programmes for Key Stages 1 and 2, with comprehensive support for teachers new to the forum theatre approach.
