Since 2007 Ariel has been developing a series of anti-violence education resources that support teachers to respond to a wide range of the issues facing young people today.
Ariel's approach is built on an understanding of the evidence-base that underpins effective prevention education; this evidence shows clearly that an approach based solely on raising awareness will be ineffective and that it is essential to focus on developing young people's skills and to build their confidence in using these new skills.
Each Ariel resource is supported by a clear logic model, which identifies the key skills that the programme will develop. We are committed to evaluating the impact of our programmes and building an evidence-based for our work. The feedback we collect is used to underpin the ongoing improvement of our resources.
