We have had a wonderful time over the Summer Holidays working with a group of youngsters at Bright Park in Liverpool. This is a new one for us as the venue is outside!
As always, we adapt to our surroundings and were delighted to perform our ‘Grassing or Grooming?’ project in the style of Promenade Theatre. The audience followed our character of Dean throughout the park and watched how his story unfolded. The part where Dean was met by a gang member in the woods was particularly effective and you could sense the audience's unease at this moment.
This was a great opportunity for us to try something new and it is something that we will definitely do again in the future. At the end of our sessions, the youngsters were presented with their Ariel Trust certificates.
