We have been having a wonderful time trialling our new programme, 'Telling tales or asking for help?' with Y2 pupils at Our Lady Queen of Peace Primary School. This is an adaptation of our ‘Grassing or Grooming?’ programme. The class teacher has offered invaluable insight and suggestions to ensure that the new programme is age appropriate for which we are very grateful.
The pupils have been enthusiastic and have really engaged with the activities so far. They have shown particular maturity when discussing the feelings of the characters in the piece.
The pupils have been working on creating freeze frames of characters using their facial expressions and body language and will be moving on to using role play to look at effective ways to ask for help. Being able to trial a programme with such a lovely group and supportive teacher is invaluable to us.
