Ariel has recently secured funding from both The National Lottery and Paul Hamlyn Foundation.  Alongside other work with the Violence Reduction Partnership this means we are now delivering more face-to-face projects than ever.

We recently delivered our first recruitment day for Theatre Practitioners and are pleased to have added three new practitioners to the Team.  The Ariel staff involved in the day felt that this was a really positive to get to know potential applicants and for them to really understand our work.

The new team members have just completed their first term with us, and Anita has reflected on the experience;

“When I attended the recruitment day for a 'Drama Practitioner' role at the Ariel Trust I immediately felt welcomed by everyone there. Having worked in Education for 30 years I could see the enormous value of what the company does and was keen to be part of the team - and a team is definitely what this company is!  I feel privileged to work with a group of such professional and creative individuals, helping young people build skills they may need to face challenges in the future through the medium of drama.  Rachael has been a great leader, supporting me and valuing my input. The schools we have been in have been great to work with. I am very much enjoying being part of the Ariel Trust”.

If you are a Theatre Practitioner in the Merseyside area and might be interested in joining our team, please email our Project Officer, Rachael, so that we can invite you to our next recruitment day.
