Key Stage 3 English: Senseless Anti-Racism Resource

The Senseless software programme has been designed to support teachers to explore the issue of racism within Key Stage 3 English lessons. The resource contains a range of Spoken Language and Speaking & Listening exercises that can be assessed as part of pupils' coursework.
The evaluation report shows the impacts that the curriculum mapped sessions had on the grades of pupils in two schools; West Derby School and Parklands High School in Liverpool. It also illustrates how, at the same time, the software and film impact on young people's attitudes to racism.
